Ashley Gillespie is a strong believer that pets are more than pets, they are part of the family. She has always had a love for animals which is why she chose to obtain her degree in Animal Science from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.

After graduating college she worked in multiple veterinary clinics where she saw a strong need for help at home with clients pets. As a veterinary technician Ashley saw that pets were being seen more often due to a lack of help at home. Many people lead busy lives with children, work and daily stress of life. She realized she could make a difference by providing daily house calls to help people care for their pets when they were not able to.

When she started San Diego Pet Services 4 years ago she wanted to help care for pets as if they were one of her own. Bringing her technician background to her business has helped her ensure that pets receive the best care possible while being able to stay in the comfort of their own homes.
